What problem or challenge were you facing before using ATLI Building Company?

Before using ATLI I was trying to decide between moving, doing a knock down rebuild or renovating.

I looked at the option of knock down/rebuild but was not prepared to outlay the amount of money it would take. Moving would mean leaving a street and neighbourhood I really like.

Renovating to me seemed like such a daunting endeavour, until I met Alex. I had no vision and could not see the possibilities for my house, Alex and his team could.

He could see I was very nervous about the outlay and the procedure. One thing he said was, this is what he does, he would be with me every step of the way and would take care of everything. This really resonated with me, as it is what I would say to labouring women!

What made you choose ATLI Building Company?

I chose ATLI because the company came on good recommendation. I also chose to go with them because of Alex. He has a calm, organised and respectful manner.

He is mindful that it is a huge endeavour, and is not in any way condescending or intimidating.

He also has a good sense of humour, and an enormous amount of patience, which was put to good use while traipsing around helping me choose the fittings for the renovation.

What stood out the most about the process/service?

The thing that stood out the most was Alexis’ organisational skills and his ability to plan. He also surrounds himself with very competent, and respectful people.

He also kept me informed every step of the way, with daily phone calls, telling me what was happening on the day and what to expect next.

What were the biggest benefits you achieved?

The biggest benefit to me was that I could stay in an area I like, close to family and now in a house I like coming home to.

The renovation has given me a great deal of pride, happiness and a sense of space where there was none before.

I am now not reluctant to have people drop in and can’t wait until I can entertain on the amazing deck.

I would absolutely recommend ATLI to others. There is no substitute for honesty, reliability and dependability. Alex has all these qualities, and so do the trades he works with.
